Means of transport:

There are many means of transport in Uruguay and they are all very efficient. Several regional airlines from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Panama as well as international ones from Europe and USA operate in the country’s international airports. Also, ships and ferries connect Buenos Aires with Montevideo and with Colonia several times a day.

Local transport consists mainly of a variety of bus lines, taxis and reasonably priced rental cars. In the seaside resorts, scooters and bicycles are also available for rent.
